I think the only reason Robert contacted me about these jerseys is because I have been bugging him for a month or so about when they would be coming in. He knows I'm more of a bargin shopper...

Here go some pics...

I just picked up my first Bears jersey for my Cal Bears collection. Today I received a 2010 Will Ta'ufo'ou #45 home jersey directly from the team.

Will is a young man who took a number of classes in our department here at Cal and he also performed at our graduation ceremony a couple of years ago. I hope his knee is OK and he can catch on with another team next season.

After looking at the very few pics there are of Ta'ufo'ou I realized this a 2009 preseason home jersey. He also got a brief mention in a Uni Watch article date 9/9/09:

• No uni changes for the Bears, but it's worth noting that they recently demoted rookie fullback Will Ta'ufo'ou to the practice squad, which unfortunately means we won't be seeing this amazing nameplate on the field, at least for now.

I must say, though, that I liked the #45 better when the NOB was FENCIK.

Dave, I agree. I'm not a Bears fan but you couldn't help but love the way Fencik played safety back in the day.

Plus he had an easier name to pronounce!
