Congrats on the pickup legaleagle92481, Miller had a forced fumble and turnover on the first play of his first ever Nfl game as well. Ads to the history. He is looking to be the real deal.
Thanks, hopefully he is the real deal. For what its worth I think your boy Webb got a raw deal when they drafted Ponder, Webb looked good last year and that pick could have been better spent on the Oline, D line or a traded up for a wideout.

          Re: First Jerseys Ever Worn

I have the following unique jerseys in my collection. A couple are pre-season jerseys; a couple were first issues:

1980 Mets Hubie Brooks #62 home jersey - Brooks was #62 as a late season call-up that year before taking #7

1984 Mets Wes Gardner #27 blue alternate - Gardner was given Craig Swan's jersey mid-season. Swan's nameplate was stripped off and a new one for Gardner was placed on the jersey over the top.

1993 Mets Bobby Jones #28. Jones played 9 games for the Mets that year as a late season callup for the club.

1997 Mets Octavio Dotel #62. Dotel wore this jersey in the pre-season but did not appear in the big leagues until 1999.

2007 Joe Smith #70. Smith wore this during pre-season; when he first appeared in the regular season, he took #35.
          Looking for ...
Any Game Used Mets jerseys from 1986 and 1987
Any Keith Hernandez, Ron Darling, Lee Mazzilli and John Olerud Mets items

Nice to see you back Legaleagle! Was hoping you would pop up again on the forum. It is good to see that the NFL game used bug still has bitten you.

I have a couple 49er gamers that I would consider 1st jerseys worn. Both are rookie shirts and were used in the first regular season game. They were also used in preseason but I cannot determine if they were used in the 1st preseason game.

William Floyd 1994 rookie home non throwback worn vs Raiders and in the preseason. Just dont know if it was worn in the 1st preseason game. Nice use plus team letter.

William Floyd 1st playoff gamer-home throwback vs Bears. He scored 3 TDs in this game. Team letter

Bryant Young rookie home non throwback used in preseason but unknown if used in 1st preseason game. This jersey is photo-matched to the Eagles and to a preseason game but NOT matched to the Raider game yet, so it might be his second shirt. I need to watch the DVD to be sure it is his first regular season gamer. Team letter.

Always buying 49ers gamers and any 1994 49er gamer. Paying a finders fee!

              Re: First Jerseys Ever Worn

Losing my job sucked. Finding myself forced to offer everything for sale sucked as well. Having a collector contact me about a jersey I really didn't want to sell and wouldn't for less than a fantastic offer continued to suck as I was forced to actually think about letting it go. I remembered getting it, how proud I was to own of such a historic but sad part of my favorite team's history. It was one of a kind, he never wore the style or number again. So it got me thinking.....

If he was drafted in 2005, than his first ever game would be in the 2005/06 Preseason. ESPN has a list of all the preseason games from that year still available. The first time my team played that season was an away game. Away teams wore white jerseys that year. That means....

I own Luc Bourdon's very first Vancouver Canucks jersey.

Lots of other things still suck, but this was a very pleasant surprise.

                Re: First Jerseys Ever Worn

Just picked up the first home jersey worn by Jordan Pries who is a kid from my hometown. He played with the Everett Aqua Sox this past season. I also have a Stanford jersey he wore during his freshman year so I guess you can say I have his first college jersey ever worn too.
