Sand Knit Chicago Bulls Warm Up Jacket - HELP -

Hi, anyone have any info on this jacket ? and know what year(s) sand knit was worn by the chicago bulls ? i'm assuming its the late mid to late 80's.

i believe this should be a game worn jacket.

anyone with any info, please chime in.

Judging from the tagging, I'd put it at or around '88.

I'm not sure as to whether or not it's a game jacket, or if MacGregor even made warm-ups for retail, but I know MacGregor used the "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for... " on their retail jerseys.

Dating it within a range is not hard. When Sand-Knit got the NBA uniform contract starting with the 1986-87 season, the small NBA logo was added to uniforms and warmup attire. Sand-Knit's contract ran through the 1989-90 season...Champion took over in 1990-91. Pinning it down, the tag design was one used in 1988-89 and 1989-90. Can't say if it's team-issued or retail, although I'd expect to see more tagging in a game-issued item.
