What do you think about this 1999 Griffey Jersey

Wanted to get some opinions on this jersey, I've cropped all the photos I found from 1999 in this jersey. Thanks for any input.

Is the 4 a different font than the photos? Specifically the slanted front on the 4 as opposed to the straight down cut in the photo?

IMO the "Griffey" on the back of the jersey in question is not arched enough compared to the one he is wearing on his back in the photo.

Might just be the angle, but if you look at the back of the jersey in question and look at the 4 and compair it to the action shot, its appears that the 4 in the jersey in question has an angle and the other doesn't. Right there ---> 4. Sorry kind of hard to explain.

As others have said..

• #4 is the wrong style, to my knowledge they've never used that style on actual gamers. I have seen it as a single color screened on number from a BP style Peoria M's jersey.
• Griffey nameplate is not arched enough compared to other pictures of Griffey and other players.
• The "Y" in Griffey is the wrong style as well

I'm sure there are other things we may be missing but this is what I see from the photos you've provided and looking at numerous images and cards of my own.

I see what you're saying about the 4, it looks like the farthest left side of the four on the jersey is slanted and the picture it is not. Thanks for everyone's input. I will obviously be passing on this particular jersey.

Also the first "F" in Griffey is on the left side on top of the 2 in the jersey you show but in the pictures of Griffey you can see that the first "F" is closer to the right side on top of the 4.

Does this jersey come with any LOA?

No LOA, which from what I'm seeing is not a good sign for any Mariners jersey, usually means it didn't come direct from Griffey.
