This cap was worn by Ortiz in his last season against the Rays on July 10, 2016. Ortiz hit career homer 554 this game and signed the cap. it is MLB and Fanatics authenticated to both game use and the autograph. It has his #34 written clearly inside the bill. I'm not sure exactly what your authentication states but you may need to contact MLB about a possible correction. Also, Fanatics should help you get that straightened out if that's who you purchased the cap from.

Must be my numbers crunching..it's from the July 10 game, so it would be home run #525. It is signed beautifully on the bill and photos can be provided.

I'm glad you found one that low and hope you jump on it! There's no need to hijack someone's sell thread and try and make an item look bad. I purchased this with every intent to keep, but have added some new items and need to pay them off. That's what this hobby is about. If you don't like it, then go somewhere else to collect. I also bet that one was not worn on a day he hit a home run, either.
