    Re: post your July pick-ups

I have been trying to decide between a couple different guys on who I want to base my player collection on. After liquidating much of what I previously had and I just added this bat to make my decision harder....Jason Heyward Gamer cracked on an infield single in the 8th inning against the Mets 5/17...

My brother-in-law and I used his vacation, and some of his work's season tickets, to hit a couple of games in the just-completed Astros-Cubs series. Today, I got him a BP ball, and myself a game-worn cap of Houston coach Dave Clark (no pics...sorry).

No exactly sure what I have but it fit my Olympic baseball collection and was too cheap to pass up. The Olympic rings intrigued me but Venezuela has never competed in the Olympics so I'll take any and all suggestions. MUSEOVEN?

Trying to be very selective on my bats, trying to go towards uncracked with a few considerations to repaired bats. Just a way to slow down my collecting and make the hunt a little more challenging and entertaining.
Looking for: Joey Votto game used items.

    Russyurk,

I am from Venezuela too, I almost sure that the brand "Unisport" use the olympic rings as a logotype.

The official color of Venezuela in international competitions is burgundy.

    Hope that helps

JUST GOT THIS TODAY! Only 2 autographed balls that have been MLB holo'd for a sig from Strasburg's debut on 6/8/10. The ball is marked game ready although it was sold as game used and it has a nice dirt mark that goes right through the #37 inscription!

I also didn't spend $20,000+ like the other buyer of the MLB Auction'd Strasburg ball.

Hologram number LH556824 was located in the MLB Authentication Database under GAME-READY BALL.
    Session Product Description:

    Session Name: PIT AT WSH
    Session Date: June 08, 2010
    Authenticator: AUTHENTICATORS, INC.
Additional Information: GAME-READY BALLS FROM STEPHEN STRASBURG'S MLB DEBUT FROM UMPIRE TOM HALLION'S BALL BAG

    Session Name: SD AT WSH
    Session Date: July 07, 2010
