Re: Wanted: 1980s SF Giants jerseys
Are any of you guys going to Giants games today and tomorrow. I'll be there for sure. The '87 team reunion is tomorrow and Jeff Leonard will be there.

Re: Wanted: 1980s SF Giants jerseys
Ironically, if it weren't for Jeffrey Leonard brokering a peace in the Giants clubhouse between Will Clark and the African American players, Will might have died 20 yrs. ago.
I guess there was also heat between Kevin Mitchell and Jeff Leonard. Mitch in 1987 hit 2HRs in a game and Jeff Leonard blew him off publicly in the dugout instead of congratulating him. However, after the game in the tunnel where no one could see him, Jeff Leonard said to Mitch privately, "nice game."
I went to mlb fanfest and got Will Clark's auto. People in line joked that Will Clark and Jeffrey Leonard would be at the table signing side by side.

Re: Wanted: 1980s SF Giants jerseys
If you're referring to my Alou Jersey, it's not currently for sale, though Steiner Sports/mlb auctions have had some Mets jerseys for sale.
I was lucky to get the Alou jersey at 2006 Giants FanFest for $275. It shows great use. (They had several Alous there that day). I actually had to choose between at least 3 home and road jerseys. I'd think the 2007 Mets jersey I saw at one time on mlb.com at $550 would be a good deal, given his hit streak w/Met's.
As an aside, I picked up a 1988 Don Robinson road jersey recently. Giants jerseys are selling for insane amounts of money on ebay.
With the 2007 All-Star Game, the old players making appearances, and management taking Barry out back and shooting him, everyone is getting sentimental. At this rate the 82 Orange Brenly currently up for auction is going to get $2,500.
I was at the game last night. It seems like yesterday he broke the home run record 6 years ago. (I was sitting behind home plate for both games).
It finally hit me why it seems like yesterday. Time really does stand still at that wonderful park.
Anyway, bring on Dave Wells and the Dodgers! Let's see what
Fred Lewis - Baby Bonds can do.
Bold prediction, the Giants will win the World Series within 3 years.
