Sports Illustrated has shown us the sweater designs of the Winter Classic game between the Blackhawks and the Bruins, both Original Six teams.

The Bruins' style is largely influenced by the jerseys the team wore from 1932-36, although a large capital B replaces the bear logo originally used. The style to be worn by Chicago is reminiscent of their 1933-34 Stanley Cup Champs, the first one won by the Blackhawks. This style also represents the last year that Blackhawks wore sweaters that didn't include any red in the color scheme.

The Winter Classic will be played on January 1 at Notre Dame Stadium.
