Denver Broncos vintage jersey question
Hey guys, found this today at a local flea market. Is this anything special or just what I'm thinking which is just a regular replica 80s jersey? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Denver Broncos vintage jersey question
There was not any tagging in the neck area, I'm sure this is probably not anything of value but I figured I would rather be safe than sorry. Here is a closer up picture of the patch on the front of the jersey.

Re: Denver Broncos vintage jersey question
Preston,
Here are my thoughts for what it's worth:
- When the Broncos played in Super Bowl XXI, they wore their white jerseys.
- The Broncos did not wear a Super Bowl patch in that game.
- Rulon Jones wore #75 for the Broncos from 1980 through 1988.
- The number font looks too thin for that era.
- The lettering font does not appear to be correct for Broncos jerseys of that era.
- I am also thinking that the lettering was sewn-on to the plate circa 1986.
- Unlike modern-era players, defensive linemen typically were not wearing size 44 jerseys in that era.
The tagging is correct for a game-worn Russell jersey. That leads me to believe that perhaps this was a blank jersey where the numbers and lettering were added by a fan.
A Broncos collector can probably be more more helpful on this jersey.
