1976 Willie Stargell Pirates Jersey on EBAY
Had a long time friend/collector who is not a forum member ask me what I thought of this poorly listed Willie Stargell jersey.
I have no experience with 70's Pirates gamers so I told him I would post it here.

no record on pricerealized.com of this selling before..sizing matches a Rawlings home jersey that sold in the past...looks like the seller got a hold of a collection that they are liquidating...Wilson is correct mfr...

from getty and other photos arent the openings in the number 8 supposed to be more rounded rather than square?

I didn't find a road jersey on Getty Images...so, can't be certain comparing to the home..BUT, big flag..the Centennial patch is on the WRONG sleeve...auction item is on the right, but, according to Henderson guide, road (and home) should be on left..at nearly $5K now..uh oh

For '76 Reds jerseys, there were both. Most of them seemingly were on the right sleeve, but there are definitely images showing left as well (Tony Perez I think)?

Went over $10k, much higher than I expected...guess 70s knits are increasing.
