The item is a signed Sammy Sosa Cubs jersey that dates to the late 1990s. The piece is accompanied by a Cubs LOA that describes it as a GAME JERSEY, not game used nor game worn. The seller, who has been taken to task here before about misdescribed or questionable items, was contacted by yours truly to ask him to drop the "game used" description. The seller responded, but said that "the LOA says that it's a game jersey", and, in his mind, "game jersey" and "game used jersey" apparently are one and the same, so the description was not changed. FTR, the jersey is sized OK (48) but has no collar strip tag. The one saving grace is that, with roughly a day to go, the top bid has yet to reach $100...I'm not sure if that's because other collectors see the LOA and lack of a strip tag, or if it's attributed to Sosa's extreme unpopularity these days.
