Noticed this on eBay earlier this month and it sold. The autograph gave me significant pause and now that's its back up with the seller's description I'd stay away.

It appears the signature was faded and then traced over by someone. I'd wipe the autograph off before I ever traced over it. Sad this happened to such a cool piece.

FYI, the faded/traced DW bat is back on eBay again from the buyer who previously purchased it. No mention of the tracing of the autograph & inscription.
