October 2016 Pickups

[Birdbats]

1995 Mark McGwire game-used bat (lot 002 95), personalized in 1996 to Cy Jones, son of 1996 U.S. Open winner Steve Jones. Bat is uncracked; it has deep seam impressions, some blue/AL ball ink transfer, and (though light) Mac's pine tar pattern on the handle. It appears Mac used a Sharpie to improve some light foil stamping, filling in a few of the letters.

Ezekiel Elliott 2nd career game and 1st road game jersey. He had 21 rushes for 83 yards and TD. Also 2 receptions for 4 yards

Some fine items to be sure. That Elliott jersey is a beauty, also really like the Correa pink bat. Nice going on these.

Picked up a 2011 Rafael Furcal World Series game 3 used bat. Upon further examination by Tyler on Getty it was determined it was used also in both the NLDS and the NLCS game 6 for a home run. Thrilled to get it for my 2011 collection.

Picked up these 2016 Cardinals game used pine tar sticks in October. They are pretty cool and more than likely used by most of the team in 2016. Each one is MLB Authenticated as well.
