Experience with white paint pens

Does anyone have any experience with white paint pens? Decocolor or other brands? I really like the way they look on certain helmets and photos (like ny giants football helmets), but my little experience this far makes me hesitant to use them at a paid signing. THey seem not quite as reliable as the silver paint pens, but at one signing I had the multiple signers really take their time, and the item came out awesome.

My experience has been the exact same as yours. White looks great, but pen needs to really be prepped well right before use, and player needs to take his time, otherwise the paint will be thin at the start of the sig. I do white if it's a sit down, not rushed signing.
