Hey there.. does anyone know if Vince has ever worn a 58+6 as a Raptor?

I can't say for 100% certainty but, I doubt it. I would look for something in the 50 or 52 area. Some 6"10" centers don't wear a jersey that big.

I agree...sounds way off. To compare, as a Laker, Shaq often took a 58 or 60, and Vince Carter is no Big Aristotle in terms of bulk.

I don't have year-by-year sizes, but I'm comfortable saying that he never wore a 58+6. If he were to wear a jersey that size, it would probably hang out the bottom of his shorts.

His rookie year (Dino style), I know he wore 48 & 50 (not sure on the +length), and then for the first few years with the newer style he was wearing a 52+2.

reason i asked is because i bought a game worn vc jersey from the raptors foundation several years back and thought the same thing about how it would be too big for him...

but i just found this...although my jersey is a home jersey.. but i guess this gives me hope that mines is actually GU? lol

Is that a jersey or a dress Vince is wearing? Having gotten the jersey from the Raptors foundation and finding the picture I would feel pretty comfortable about your jersey.

Of the 2002-03 era, 56+6 was common sizing for Vince Carter. So 58+6 is a very possible size variation as your picture shows. For a few years during this period, the Raptors organization also included Game Worn and Team Issued patches on the inside tail of select jerseys and shorts.

Can anyone confirm that Vince commonly wore 52+2, as opposed to 52+4, in 2000-2001?

My Carter jersey from 2003-04 is a size 58+6 and was purchased directly from the team and is photo matched.
