Re: Private Message Settings....AGAIN!!
Agreed. I also think it would make more sense to have the default set to on. But what do I know

Yes, straight from the "that would make too much sense" department.
That, as well as an edit function would shoot us right up into 1995-era technology. And yeah, yeah, I've heard all the reasoning behind not having an edit function but for those of us who don't fall into the "lying, thieving douchebag" category and would simply like the opportunity to correct a typo, the argument is wasted.

Re: Private Message Settings....AGAIN!!
Don't forget some unbalanced folks like to start drama, then after they cool down they want to put the toothpaste back in the tube. I've seen other message boards where some people delete all of their posts and go home. And you think it's awkward reading some of these threads? Typos happen. Screws fall out. The world is an imperfect place. Besides, even if there was an edit function, there would still be atrocious grammar errors. I urge everyone to learn the difference between they're, their and there. And the apostrophe "s" shows ownership, not "more than one".

Re: Private Message Settings....AGAIN!!
Well as long as no one tries to "Ax" me a question, I guess I will be ok......
Ditto anyone who refers to their collection as "mines"
Working in the NYC school system, man have I seen the perversion of the English Language. With an English Minor in college, I have become what I hated most, an English language snob. Now I correct everyone and my wife hates it.
Hasn't cost me any game worn jerseys yet though
