Kelly Paris, a utility infielder for 4 different teams during the 1980s, died 5/27 at age 61.
Paris and his brief stops in The Show included 1982 (Cardinals), 1983 (Reds), 1985-86 (Orioles) and 1988 (White Sox).

Frank Lucchesi, a former manager and coach in bith the Minors and the Majors. died on 6/8 at age 92
Lucchesi's MLB managing career included stints with the Phillies, Rangers and Cubs.

Eric Patterson, a CB out of Ball State who played for both the Rams and the Colts in 2015, died 6/8 after being shot and killed. He was 26.

Dave Marshall, an outfielder who spent 7 seasons in The Show, died on 6/6 at age 76.
Marshall played for the Giants (1967-69), the Mets (1970-72), and the Padres (1973)

Aubrey Gatewood, a RHP and knuckleballer who pitched for the Angels from 1963-65, died on 6/5 at age 80.
Gatewood made a brief return to The Show in 1970, pitching in 3 games for Atlanta.

Larry Foss, a RHP up for September roster expansions in 1961 and '52, died on 6/15 at age 83.
Foss appeared in 3 games for the 1961 Pirates, and in 5 more for the 1962 Mets.

LB from last Browns NFL title team passes away
Vince Costello, A star LB for Cleveland for 10 years, died this past weekend at age 86.
An assistant coach for several teams after his playing career ended, Costello finished his playing career with the New York Giants.

Tyler Skaggs, a LHP on the Los Angeles Angels roster, died on July 1, less than 2 weeks before his 28th birthday.
Originally a pitcher for Arizona. Skaggs was unresponsive when someone knocked on his door at the Angels' hotel. Once inside, he was pronounced deat at the scene. No cause of death has been reported yet. but police believe that foul play was not involved.

Jared Lorenzen, a star QB in college and a back-up for two seasons in the NFL, died on 7/3 at age 38. Lorenzen was admitted to a hospital the week before due to multiple health issues.
One of the best-ever QBs at the University of Kentucky, Lorenzen backed up Eli Manning for two years with the New York Giants.

Luis Mercedes, a reserve OF for three years in MLB, died on 6/30 at age 51.
Mercedes was in The Show from 1991-93, spending most of his career with Baltimore. He split 1993 between the O's and the Giants.
