    rawlings bat question

is it possible to have an early 90's era Rawlings bat that is supposed to be "game used" which does not have a batch number or year number on the knob?

(all it has is the model number.)

    thanks,

    Rudy.

    Re: rawlings bat question

Hi Rudy - yes it is possible. I have seen a couple and I owned a 1990 Larry Walker gamer that had great provenance that did not have the batch or year number on the knob. That is the only era that I have seen with Adirondacks where they may have missed stamping a few bats here and there. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Good luck! Jim Caravello

    Re: rawlings bat question

    Rudy/Jim-
All of my World Series and All Star Adirondack's only have limited info.

For example, my Ripken 93 All Star bat has CR8 CR on the knob. Likewise, my John Kruk 1993 Phillies World Series bat reads 170A JK. The usual batch and year stampings are not present on these bats.
