Since Hideki Matsui's rookie year is 2003, would a New York Yankees game used baseball from 2003 or 2004 count as a Rare Japanese Game Used Item?

I have a Tomo Ohka game used bat and a Kaz Matsui game used Norfolk Tides jersey with team LOA (no name on back). My son batboyed for the Fall League team the Solar Sox when Matt Murton was on it and has a game used signed Solar Sox hat, 2 pair of game used signed batting gloves, a game used undershirt and a game used signed bat. I am not sure if he would part with them but I can ask. I'd want to agree on prices before I sent scans as my it will take awhile to find the stuff as he has tons of stuff after being a bat boy and clubhouse guy.
