Based on the photos, it's got a very good shot. The tagging looks proper for the year/team, and Grace took a 42 very early in his career.

I would have to say from all the pics that ive seen from 88-89' and its pretty limited, that the jersey is bad. It seems as though all the Cub Jerseys from those years show the Cubs patch being much lower on the V neck than what this example shows. Opinions to discredit this theory are welcomed.

His BP jerseys look to have the same placement as the jersey in question so, but not his actual gamers. Even the pinstripe gamers are lower like the blue ones.

I'M venturing to say scoreboard jersey??? 88' set 1 seems about right? I'd like Dave and Ken to weigh in on this one, since my knowledge is limited in that area... Not sure if Grace was one of the players produced for scoreboard...Thanks!
