2010 All Star Game Used
Does anyone know whether the 2010 ASG used jerseys and equipment will be offered for sale or auction? What has MLB done with the game jerseys - not the BP jerseys - the past few years?

MLB has started listing some items from the homerun derby this year so expect more to be listed once they get it all together and logged in there database

Re: 2010 All Star Game Used
I found out who was handling the BP jerseys (American and National) from the Home Run Derby (email me at gingi79@aol.com for his address)
Prices were dictated by MLB. Here is a sample of what the Braves are going for:
Jason Heyward $1495.
Martin Prado $995.
Tim Hudson $995
Brian McCann $1495.
Omar Infante $695

Any word on what is going to happen with the new style helmets worn by many of the players?

Re: 2010 All Star Game Used
I just had an email correspondence with my contact at Steiner about All-Star game used items. He told me that they had 76 game used player clubhouse chairs and 9 game used coaches chairs each of which were signed by the individual players/coaches. He also told me they sold something like 25 chairs today.
If anyone is interested they can contact Efrain Reyes at Steiner. Just tell him you are a GUU member and he will take care of you.
Hope that helps.

I can say I saw photos of the all-star chairs from Steiner, and they are nice. I was tempted to buy Marlon Byrds, but I just dont think it will flow in my personal collection. They are cool, and reasonably priced. Just wish they were more personalized. Maybe the players number and team logo on them somewhere. They would be more desirable.

Re: 2010 All Star Game Used
I got the Heyward chair for my birthday yesterday from my amazing wife. He's signed it with a silver marker and wrote "22" beside his name. It now sits in my collection next to my H. Aaron (Black leather and silver sig) Glavine, Smoltz, C. Jones (95 WS Ball), B. McCann, J. Francoeur, Clete Boyer, S. Avery, A. Jones, E. Renteria, et al., autographed balls as well as book-ended by my C. Jones and J. Francoeur bats. It looks soooooo sweet and really stands out as a truly one-of-a-kind piece. I will admit, I will probably never sit in it.
