Historic Auctions - Joe Carter bat

    http://www.historicauctions.com/inde...uctionid=31392

"Joe Carter game-used bat". Historic Auctions/ASI says it was
used in the 1992 World Series season.

"This bat is uncracked and has Carter's jersey number of 17 on the butt."
"World Series bats are very rare."

Indeed they are. Too bad this isn't one. This bat wasn't used in any of Carter's years with the Jays. He wore "17" for one season with the Padres.

For pretty much his entire tenure with the Jays he wore #29.

    Way to go Historic Auctions.

    Rudy.

Re: Historic Auctions - Joe Carter bat

Nice catch Rudy. Additionally there is nothing under the Joe Carter signature from the photos which would make this bat a 1990 the only year Joe played for the Padres and wore no. 17 as you noted.

    Another quality product from ASI.
