    Jersey Display Cases

Not sure we have had a thread where people show off their jersey display cases. Always a good area for ideas. Could the folks shoot some pictures??

    Thanks in advance -

I have to get some better lighting in my basement, but these pics will have to do. I just built seven "lockers" in my basement. I just framed them up with 2x4's and then used tongue and groove (pine) carsiding...just like the cieling. I think it ended up looking pretty cool. Easy to do and relatively inexpensive.

    very nice harpt

my question is for a case, is UV protection necessary if the jersey is not exposed to the sun/light that much. I have a Yankees pinstripe jersey and was wondering if I should get a standard display or one with UV protection? thanks

    Re: Jersey Display Cases

bought my first two game worn nba jerseys... they were only 150 each so I'm looking looking to spend a lot on a display frame. Anyone have a suggestion for a less expensive frame? I don't care if the whole jersey shows... I can fold it I guess... Quite frankly, the jerseys are huge so I don't need them taking up the whole wall.

you can get them at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. wait til they have their sale on them (usually every other week) and you can get one for $60-$75.

here's pic of one of mine. its 30x40 and i turn them sideways because it works better in my room

Scott: I did a playroom for the kids a few years back with the v-groove pine you speak of. It is great stuff. You did an outstanding job here... Bob
