yanks I am not a Joe Dimaggio expert but from items i have seen autographed in the past it looks pretty real. Maybe some of our other members can shed some better light on this?

yanks again i am not an expert, but I would say it is a blue bic pen, It is to clean and smooth for a sharpie, but I could be wrong.

No doubt it is a ballpoint, you'd know if it was a Sharpie.
Maybe I'll buy the ball and have it looked at.
