2 GU Cubs bats, each for $15 S&H.

1) 1998 Rawlings brown GU bat #37 Brant Brown. I can't find any cracks, although there is some deadwood on the barrel. Cupped barrel end, and both the cup and the knob feature Brown's #37 as well as the model number (256B). The handle has a criss-cross tape job with some minor tar stains.

2) 1998-2000 LS black C271 block letter GU bat #8 Jose Nieves. Again, I don't see any cracks, and the deadwood is light. Lots of pine tar, especially in the area of the LS label. MLB logo between LS logo and barrel IDs. While the barrel bears a team ID of CHICAGO CUBS, Nieves wore #11 during his time there. However, #8 was what he wore during his 2001-02 seasons with the Angels. "8" written in silver marker on the knob. Bat has printed personalization and salutation in silver marker both above and below the name on the barrel: (above) TO: JIM, (below) FROM: JOSE NIEVES THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!" Lots of use on this bat.
