Found this on EBay right before auction ended so I bid, very unlike me, without research. The problem I have is the #23 on back being a different font / style than any pics I can find. It was listed and purchased by me as a GU Yonder Alonso helmet....any help would be greatly appreciated.
Padres stopped using that font after the 2011 season. Possibly a Blake Tekotte helmet. What is the year stamp?
What size is the helmet? I have several from different years of other players and noticed the difference on a Headley helmet from either 2009 or 2010, to one photomatched from 2011. That font looks like the PRE 2011 font to me. I will post photos later of both of them side to side, and the Alonso helmet that I have from last year.
