This jersey was authenticated by Grey Flannel but the jersey has alot of problems. Morales never wore #8 Second the numbers are suppose to be White with a blue outline. http://cgi.ebay.com/1969-MORALES-WHITE-SOX-GAME-USED-BASEBALL-JERSEY-LOA_W0QQitemZ170132891075QQihZ007QQcategoryZ60597Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemhttp://images.auctionhelper.com/images/lroomauth@aol.com//12414.jpg

The shirt is a complete train wreck! Pete Ward wore #8, not Morales. It should be #2. Likewise, the N.O.B. is completely wrong, too! It appears to be a shirt that was incorrectly restored, however, how could any authenticator miss these glaring problems?

According to the heading on the LOA, Grey Flannel proclaims to be "The Standard of the Industry". Based on this huge blunder, what exactly are their standards?

I see that Rich Russek signed the LOA. I suggest giving him a call with your concerns and updating this post, accordingly.

This is no excuse for the jersey, but they do make mention of some of the problems in their write up - . Across the back is "MORALES" in blue tackle twill. The name "MORALES" on this jersey has been restored and the numbers have been changed and restored

Regards,
Dave

Dave-
Although they mention the name is restored, there is no mention that it is in the wrong color of material and incorrect font. Likewise, they mention that the numbers are "changed" and "restored", however, no mention that like the name, the color is incorrect and also the fact Morales never wore #8!

What about the fact this jersey is a size 38? Rich is listed at 5' 11" and 170lbs. People of that height and weight don't wear size 38 jerseys.
