Jake33 recently tried to sell me what he called a Jonny Gomes "2007 game used" jersey. That was until I wanted pictures of the tagging to see if was authentic. I would not buy from this person as I think he probably fakes everything he sells. The way I found out this jersey was not real was when I found a Jonny Gomes ebay item, with the same exact picture he sent me for the "Game used" jersey. What do yall think.

How do you know that Jake did not simply borrow the picture from the auction (http://pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/s.gifcarlotakum isn't Jake, by the way)? It is a retail 07 alternate jersey, which is the same that he has for sale, and the back of the jersey would look exactly like in the picture provided.

I don't understand your reference to tagging: did you recieve a picture of it? You make it sound as if you did, except that the picture you post doesn't show it. If you haven't seen it, then, how can you use that to call the jersey fake?

I also don't see why the use of that picture leads you to believe it is a fake, as opposed to an attempt to take your money and run (i.e. if he borrowed a picture, a cynical mind would think he did not have the jersey, not the the jersey he had was a fake).

As an aside, I don't mean to imply that this is an attempt to take your money and run; I have bought from Jake before and recieved the product. Moreover, any concerns I may have had were not to do with suspected fakery.

My appologies if this is somewhat rambling; I've been up for nearly 24 hours straight.
