I am looking to purchase some Clemens game used items, and saw the following Clemens 'game used' Yankee bat on Ebay:

In reading the sellers feedback, I noted that a buyer, that had a transaction go south with this seller, had noted as follow-up "its no wonder collectors at gameuseduniverse.com think your a joke."

Thus, before I drop some serious coin on a Clemens 'game used' bat from this seller I would appreciate it if some of you wouldn't mind (1) opining as to its authenticity, and (2) letting me know (range) what a signed Clemens games used bat (such as this one) should typically go for.

Thanks for the help,

Lee

PS: Great site- I appreciate/have enjoyed the tutilage...

lee,

the seller purchased that bat along with the jeter bat from lelands auctions. he paid about 1350 for the two bats. here's the link:

http://www.lelands.com/bid.aspx?lot=972&auctionid=512

the thing that i dont like about that clemens bat, is the knob. the bat is double dipped and the knob looks like it has no finish on it. was something sanded off? otherwise, the bat and the signature look good.
