How many different identifing markings has anyone seen placed on jerseys by players, teams, equipment managers etc., that might help authenication.
The tape in the collar is a Dana Stubblefield 49er jersey with a team letter. I have seen tape like this with the same hand writting on many 49er items. I was told this is Bronco's writing. I pinned the tape on so not to lose it years ago.
The Wilson tag marked Super Bowl XXIX, is John Taylors jersey that I once owned.
The Nike tag is a Kevin Greene 99 Panther jersey marked 91. Kevin says that was done intially by equipment personel when they started modifing the jersey from a blank.
Derrick Brooks dated is jersey stating when it was used.
