I just thought this was pretty nice of them to help me out. I have been putting together a collection of baseball bats from the position players on the 40 man roster from the 2005 World Series Champion team. I am almost complete and was looking for a bat for Raul Casanova. I was not having any luck so I sent them off an email. Here is what I received back.


Unfortunately we are not able to help with your search for a Raul
Casanova bat. I did check in with the person who monitors our inventory
and here is what he reports:

We never received a cracked bat from Raul Casanova. He only had a few
when he came here from the minors and never cracked one while with the
big league club. He only batted five times in his brief career with the
White Sox. (1-for-5, .200) There were no bats ordered for him through
the clubhouse.

Sorry we are not able to help you complete your collection. We do
appreciate your dedication to the team and the White Sox organization.

I agree, congrats to the club for responding & at least checking on the item for you..that's a lot more than most pro teams would do. Jay

I'm VERY surprised they actually responded at all. For years I've tried to talk to anybody with the former White Sox Hall of Fame at the park and they always blew me off. I even offered to donate items just to get someone to talk to me, but always came up empty. Maybe that new fan freindly attitude is finally kicking in.
