I have been looking for an Albert Pujols game used and signed item. The seller claims to know the exact game Albert wore this hat. Any opinions? Birdbats?

Man, there's just no way to be sure with a hat unless you're the person he handed it to. In a situation like this, you're putting your full faith in the seller. My only advice is to research the seller (he used to post here as apujols04, among other names -- you can search his old posts), research Pujols signatures and make up your mind based on your homework.

Thanks Jeff. The seller seems to have had some good high-end items in the past. I looked at the UDA website and the auto appears to match the ones he signed for Upper Deck. The seller noted the size is 57.7 CM. Is this hat available retail?

Retail (and game) caps have the size in both CM and US size. I'd be shocked if this cap didn't have a US size next to the 57.7 CM. Albert wears a 7 1/4.

I am going to brag a little.

I bought a Pujols game used hat direct from his website, and I am able to link it to the exact game it was used.

It is a Blue hat with Red brim, and it has an American Flag on the side. Those hats are only used on Sundays. And the only game (july 4th, memorial day, sept 11th) that fell on a Sunday was Sept 11th.

I have looked high and low to find a picture from this game, but have not been able to.
