in his weekly editorial, jim yackel made the following comment: "..while perusing a major auction house's current catalog I encountered a misidentified Doug Flutie Buffalo Bills "game-worn" Puma supplied jersey with a black colored size flag tag on the tail. As I have written before, Puma used black flag tags on their authentic-replica jerseys and the standard white size flag on game uniform stock."
i noticed that historic auctions is currently offering a 2000 doug flutie buffalo bills "game-worn" puma jersey with a black size flag tag. the jersey was authenticated by lampson. it is a size 48.
(i believe that a puma tag with "pro" white flag tag would look like this:

anyway, the historic flutie was authenticated by lampson and is a size 48.
previously, lampson authenticated a 1999 flutie and it was a size 44:
