Does anyone know much about this auction website - www.gamewornauctions.net (http://www.gamewornauctions.net) - I am interested in a couple of items and would love to know if anyone has bid and won items in their previous auctions. Thanks in advance. Jim

Gamewornauctions.net is in some way affiliated with Spivack and Kraut out of New York. There's been some good stuff from the last auction and from this one, but....

S&K bought the gameworn.net hockey site a couple years ago and there's been a LOT of issues. They shut down registration completely and then started banning people left and right for pointing out bogus items that "friends of S&K" were peddling. Most emigrated to gamewornjerseys.com to be able to discuss things more freely.

There was a major issue last auction with someone basically shill bidding their own item out in the open. When this issue was brought up on GW.net, those who brought it up were banned and all threads were locked and deleted. After that purge, they decided to "revise" the auction bylaws, allegedly to prevent another occurrance.

Yes, there's some nice items there, but to me there's too many questions with the way they do things for me to feel comfortable bidding. I'm sure if you headed over to gamewornjerseys.com (pretty much only hockey going on there) you'd get some real interesting answers.
