2004 Tomlinson help request

Hello everyone-
I noticed someone on ebay is selling a 2004 Ladainian Tomlinson game used jersey with PSI letter, which appears to be the correct size.

If it was used in the 2004 season it could only be from the following games- (this list includes all games where the chargers wore blue uniforms in which lt played)

1 preseason (he sat out 3 of 4 preseason games)
8-27-04 versus Seattle (played briefly- he had two carries and 1 catch)

4 regular season
9-12-04 at Houston (opening weekend)
11-7-04 versus New Orleans
12-5-04 versus Denver
12-12-04 versus Tampa Bay

1 playoff game 1/8/05 versus the Jets. I have this jersey and have been able to photomatch it to the stains

There are two areas on this ebay jersey which I'm trying to photomatch. There are marks on the front numbers and the what looks like blood on the right shoulder.

I have been able to narrow it down from 21 games (preseason, season, postseason) to 5 games (I personally would eliminate the preseason game because it doesn't seem like there was much contact- which would bring it down to 4 games)

Can anyone help with this?

In my opinion the pictures are not defining enough to tell the authenticity. It has a couple of things that differ from the 2003 and 2005 that I owned, that I purchased from the NFL. I have not had a 2004. The 2003 was a size 50. The 2005 and 2006 are 48.

I would ask for a shot of the tail where the elastic is sewn in the spandex. The Zig Zag stich is unique. All of my jerseys are very tapered, about the width of the 21. I also would like to see the shoulder area by the nameplate, very unique on the real gamers. Also the sleeves are to long on this jersey according to all of mine. I'll attach photos.

The 2006 I got has some changes from the others. If your interested I post some pictures in another thread.

The taper and back on yours seems to be like mine. The sleeves are very similar also. The one on Ebay I beleive is not. The photos are so bad you cannot tell any of the fine, important, points.

I'm glad it found a good home. I sold it after I got the 05 at the Superbowl XL auction. It is a great jersey. I would like to keep them all but, $$$ won't let me.

I have the 2006 now which I plan to keep in my collection, because of the record setting season he had.

I was told that the 2006 pants that were sold by the NFL were stolen before they could be shipped to the winner of the auction. At any rate they are missing.

Inside the 2006 I found the shoulder pad warning sticker. It was also inside the 2005. The elastic strip is wider and it is a little longer on the 2006. Other than that they are virtually the same. Photos attached.

I asked the seller "markman" for a pic of the repair and he says it doesn't show up in photos with his camera.

I then asked for photos of the sleeves and waist.

nice 2006 Tomlinson jersey, I guess you are irestorecars. I remember watching that jersey/auction and it ended up going out of my price range (still a student for 14 more months). If you ever want to sell it down the road please keep me in mind.

This may be the Tomlinson that was listed in Vintage Auth. Nov. 16, 2006 auction, page 26. Did you get better pictures yet?

Sure doesn't appear to match the taper and length of the ones shown in this thread, does it? Looks more like the usual game-cut with some effort to modify it to create the correct gather on the bottom to me.

It's pushing $700 with 7 days left now. It simply does not look like the others in this thread, it truly looks like the typical game cut, altered at the waist. It's also a PSI, which from what I'm reading here, casts some further suspicion on it. I live in SD and as badly as I'd like to get an LT game worn or issue jersey, this doesn't look legit to me.

This one has a Mears LOA, but looks more like the ebay LT jersey than the ones you guys posted and own. Comments?
