Besides missing the proper strip tag that appears on ALL of the 2004 Twins jerseys, this one is missing the "Eloise" patch on the sleeve. See photo.

And can someone explain to me what this means? "The jersey features 2-color sewn identifiers with single color NOB affixed to proper plate with no pinstriping and team patch affixed to left sleeve in correct location." (Emphasis added by me. Text taken from the LOA.)

Also, if you read the LOA by Lou Lampson the jersey received a 3.5 out of 4 for "jersey characteristics/identifiers." How can that be? It is missing the TWO most CRUCIAL identifiers to date it as a 2004, the strip tagging and the Eloise patch.

This isn't the first time an auction house has tried to sell a Twins jersey as a 2004 gamer without the "Eloise" patch. The patch was worn for the entire season with the exception of spring training where they only where batting practice and the white home jerseys.

i realize this may be a rhetorical question but how was the jersey attributed to 2004? why is it not a 2003 or 2002?

i have no clue what "no pinstriping" means in reference to a pinstriped jersey. another lou-ism.

I'd like to add that I actually owned a 2004 Twins road Torii Hunter jersey as shown in the attached photos. I purchased it directly from the Twins Pro Shop in Minnetonka, MN, but didn't get the LOA with it.

The jersey has since been sold and then was listed in the Grey Flannel auction a little while back, but anyway, you can see the Eloise patch and the paper fiber strip tagging in the tail.

Based on the use this jersey has I figured mine was worn most of the season. Hope this helps.
