This card is on auction!!!

The Card comes out of the 2007 Topps Baseball Vintage set.

I was just curious if anyone could tell me what part of the Jersey this is coming from?
bcuz its not the obvious Home white and blue pinstripe or the Grey Road.

Topps purchased a few random things like suits and stuff like that worn by Mantle which they cut up and put in these cards. They also put them in every box of 2006 (or 2007, not sure which one) Topps complete sets.

Here's the box I was talking about; it's 2006 Topps Complete Set boxes. Every single one comes with it:

From what I've seen, the cards themselves sell in the $40-$60 range

One thing to add. The set with the Mantle suite piece card was sold ONLY at Target stores.

Ok call me coo coo on this one.

But we are talking about a piece of a suit, which realistically holds no value. It would be one thing if it was his suit used for example the day he got signed to the Yankees or wore to a game or wore to the hall of fame which still has no where near the value of one of his Game Used Jerseys but the suit could have been from anywhere and not only is it not his whole suit but just a piece.

Oh well I guess people will collect anything!!!

It was actually a good idea for them. The boxes sold quick

I've seen weirder cards though. There have been game worn sock cards, game used dirt cards, game used on-deck-circle cards, game used shin guard cards,,etc.

That card looks like the Mick was wearing a picnic tablecloth.

Poor showing, Topps
