Is it me or do the new BP jerseys look like the numbers on the back are heat sealed!?!! They don't look sewn on!

Anyone? Anyone?

From what I've heard everything-name, number, team name- is a heat sealed rubberized (?) type.
I hope this is not a trend which boils over to the regular jerseys. The Cool Base style is bad enough.

I do not have one of the new Big League jerseys at the complex at the moment, but the best that I can remember is that the numbers were sewn on. Also, it is neat how the red Red Sox ones have like a silver shimmer in the script.

A friend of mine saw a local TV segment on the Padres regarding the new style non-wool hats and new style BP jerseys which showed the heat pressed (?) numbers. I still have not seen one personally, though. But, all the photos I have seen looks as if it’s true.

Heat pressed for the Orioles. Look at this shot of Leo Mazzone from the first week of camp. It looks like one of his numbers is already letting go.

Looked at a jersey today and the numbers and lettering are heat sealed on. Another interesting characteristic is that the numers edges have have the feeling of felt almost. Will try to get some pics up later!
