Dave Miedema supplied the COA for this jersey in the 2017 October Legends Auction but may have gotten one thing wrong.
The 2002 Favre green jersey appears to be game used as it has the right identifiers but especially the two so called rips on the bottom back part of the jersey. Upon closer inspection, these don't appear to be rips because they are too evenly spaced from side to side and bottom to top. The rips are also sewn around the edges, with a straight line stitch on the top and bottom of the hold indicating a button hole.
In researching Favre's progression of jerseys, to keep the jersey from being pulled up, to keep it form fitting and to not allow a defender too much material to pull on it and before he moved to elastic in the hem, he used snaps, buttons, and velro to keep it in his pants.
I believe those are button holes because of the spacing and the thread sewn around them.
