Rafael Devers GU bat from 2017. This was the 1st bat he used in AAA for Pawtucket. He went 4-4 with a HR with this bat. He only played 9 games in AAA before his recent callup to the Red Sox & has hit 3 homers in his 1st 8 games.

Thanks, Bill.

I was suspecting the maker to be OT Sports, as they supply a large number of theme night game jerseys to MiLB ballclubs, kinda like AIS makes a lot of the Negro League TBTC unis for MLB.

This marked the first appearance of a Captain's patch on a uniform by an MLB team, the 1983 Cincinnati Reds. The jersey has tons of visible use on it, really nice overall. Thank you to a fellow forum member for contacting me on it.

April 15 2011 Seattle Mariners Chone Figgins Game Worn Unwashed Autographed Jackie Robinson Day Jersey MLB Authenticated.

Jersey has lots of stains and wear to it, even what appears to be blood. Jersey has Chone's #9 sewn inside the bottom of the jersey which I assume would have been for them to identify which jersey is which since they all wear 42 that day.

Jersey is hemmed with custom taper.

Picked up a couple more flannels for my MLB Flannel collection:

1967 Boston Red Sox - potentially worn by 3 different players that year since 3 different players wore #38 in 1967 with no signs of a number change.

1972 Boston Red Sox - John Kennedy

(Apparently I have no will power and I'm extending my collection to include a home jersey and road jersey for each team. Oy Vey.)

Your decision to collect these flannels is to me the best "Art Collection"

This one is matched to June 15th ( 2 singles ), 16th (double) and 17th (single). This bat was most likey used for Molina's 97th HR ( 1st of 2015) and 1st HR since June 27th 2014 (373 plate appearances). Getty has 100% AB matches but their discription doesn't mention what innings the AB's are from. Made matches to his singles from 6th and 8th innings on MLB.tv. 1st photo is the HR ( from the 4th inning) swing which looks like a match.

Yes and no. two of these I bought out of a braves connection. I personally think all of this stuff is tragically overpriced. freeman is a 600-800 jersey not 1000+ Like the braves charge or the dreamland prices of 1500+ on ebay.

Great Schmidt bat, Ben.

Back in the old days, I bought a similar bat (but cracked) for $20 from a Cubs visitors batboy. The oddity on mine was, the number on the knob was that of a HOF teammate: Steve Carlton (32).

Dave-
Didnt you find a bat stuck in the ivy years ago? Was it a Mark Grace?

That wasn't me. That was a bleacher Ballhawk named Scott (a good guy, but a bit dense...you'll see why in the story below) who saw a bat laying several feet beneath the bleachers and spent close to 2 innings of the game using some handmade hooking contraption to successfully dig it out. It turned out to be a Jeff Kunkel.

Actually, I did have one bat come to me courtesy of a hot redhead named Brandi who worked as security down the LF line. During BP, a Cubs coach came out to pose as a batter while a Cubs pitcher threw in the bullpen which, back then, was down the LF foul line, but on the field itself. When the session was over, the Cubs coach dropped the bat on the ground, attended to the pitcher...and left the bat behind, never coming back to retrieve it. I asked Brandi what was gonna happen to the bat if nobody came back for it, and she offered to hide the bat under the bullpen bench. If someone from the Cubs came back for it, she would give it to them, but if no one else came back to retrieve it by the end of the game, she would give it to me after the game. The latter happened, and I was the proud new owner of an uncracked Candy Maldonado bat! The only potential fly in the ointment, although nothing came of it, was that, when Brandi left the ballpark to go home, Scott (from the first story), who had seen her hand it to me from the bleachers, came up to her and asked her why she gave me a bat and asked her (with people nearby) if she'd get him one, too. Fortunately, no one in the area heard the conversation, and he never got one from her.

Poor Kluber pitches a beauty, the offense is nowhere to be found, and then the bullpen pours a little bit of extra gasoline on the fire.

Both have some good ball marks.

Vintage,

I have no idea, without any photo match can anyone really say anything was used by certain players. They look great hanging on my wall, that's all that matters to me. :)

One came in a game used bat LOT from Tampa & the other from a dealer in Puerto Rico.

Thats all I know.
