Wade Boggs Jersey on ebay Opinions please

It does appear to be a legit game used jersey. But all of the examples I have seen the 1983 jerseys have the maker tag ( wilson) at the base with the year. And all of the 1981's I have seen have the tag in the collar. This jersey appears to be a combination of both styles. I have asked the seller for pics to be sent to my email for better clarity. SO I can see if anything was removed and then resewn.

My biggest concern right off the bat is that the seller is selling name kits and also selling blank nameplates.

It's junk. You are correct in stating that the 1983 gamers for the Bosox should have the Wilson label in the tail. Furthermore, the box tag with the year on it does not resemble what Wilson used on Red Sox gamers that season. I wouldn't touch it.
