Here we have for sale a white Dallas Cowboys #29 DeMarco Murray NFL game jersey. It's a Nike 2012 size 42 "SKILL" cut jersey, as shown on the collar tag.
The jersey has been custom tailored by the Cowboys equipment staff for Murray. With the NFL switching to Nike in 2012, this 2012 tagged jersey would have been one of the first Nike game jerseys the team was issued. Murray usually wears a size 42 Nike game jersey, but the Cowboys equipment staff have added two full length pleats to make this one a little tighter for him try. The jersey has been shortened in length and the waistband elasticated with the thin elastic that they use on most Nike Cowboys jerseys. The staff used to use much thicker elastic on the Reebok game jerseys, sewn in with zig-zag stitching. Being new to the Nike jerseys, they obviously tried the old thicker elastic first, then removed it and fitted the now common thin elastic. There are a few zig-zag impressions in the side panels, left over from this first thick waistband and a few very small holes and pulls around the lower circumference, from the not-entirely-careful removal process by the team.
The jersey shows no real evidence of game use so it’s a game prepared or perhaps game issued jersey. The fabric and numbers look as if the jersey has perhaps been laundered.
