Thanks to a fellow collector I had the opportunity to spend some time with Met legend Ed Kranepool yesterday evening. Ed has been selling the majority of his baseball memorabilia to help pay for his medical bills as he is on the waiting list for a kidney donor as reported here. I was able to buy two photos from his personal collection and brought my 71-79 gamer which he signed for me and then struck his classic pose.

Ed's a true gentleman and truly appreciates his fan base.
