Another ebay game jersey to auction game used jersey as well:

I am not making any claims that the jersey is not game used. I am purely noting that the item description from the original auction mentioned it as a game jersey and then it is now being marketed as game used.

I sold it to a buyer in California. This is the second Rice "gamer" I sold to them that somehow made it to Mears as a gamer. Clearly neither were.

Same buyer bought this from me and ended up on Mears as a gamer

So I said to myself if that a gamer than my Rice must that I held onto must be and guess what it wasn't. Here is the listing from Mears

Michigan wore maize and blue collars on their road white jerseys in 1997. And Woodson's 1996 road white jersey collar area never dipped past the shoulder seem area. Michigan University sold quite a few of Brady and Woodson authentic game style jerseys made by Nike back in the late 1990s. If I am wrong somebody correct me.

I know MEARS pulled a 1994 Rice 49ers that was not a gamer.

Rice has been pulled as well.
The Michigan was a no brainer . Surprised the Mears staff missed that one.

Does Mears do their homework? It just seems like alot of fake stuff is being slipped through.

I think between authenticating their own auction lots, authenticating Goldin Auctions lots (and others) and then authenticating the submissions they receive, they might be spread a little thin. No excuse though right ?
Still when you are authenticating for your own auctions you should definitely do your research as it looks like you don't care when you constantly rely on the "community" to report a bad item. This does not only apply to Mears this is across the board.
