2 McGwire Bat pickups , 13 down , 2 left to complete career

I Recently added 2 elusive bats to my Mark McGwire bat collection. 1991 and the injury shortened season of 1994 have finally been acquired. The goal back when I acquired my first bat in 2003 was to someday own a bat from every season , 1987-2001. I am now only 2 bats away as I'm missing 1988 and 2000. Pretty excited as sometime in the future they will be added. 13 down , 2 to go.

Thanks man , There is a 88' im going to go after in an upcoming auction. 2000 is a year that is not too hard to find. Considering that he has now changed his signature , I'm only going after pre signed examples.

That's a great way to do it. If you can find period signatures, that's always the way to go.

Here is my old 92' that I sold off in order to replace it with the period correct 92'.
Since McGwire has now changed his signature , buying non pre signed bats is out of the question now. This bat was bought unsigned then signed through a private signing in 2013-2014.
