Michael's is having a 50% off all frames sale, today only, for those of you that have stores in your area and online.

I find New England Picture Company up in New Hampshire does a way better job and their prices are usually better than Michaels even with the 50% off they're currently offering.

Thanks for the heads up! I might stop by mine later.

Michaels is. Famous for. Taking 50 percent off jacked up prices, so not saving much sometimes. I used to frame stuff there til I realized their sales were bogus. Compared to other stores who carry same stuff

The only time I shop at Michaels is when they have a 50% off sale. Earlier this year I got a 70% off coupon in the mail for their custom framing services. With the 70% off it was still $450 to frame a jersey. So I bought a $100 frame of EBay and hung it myself. That may not be a bad price but it was more than I was wanting to pay at the time. Thanks for the heads up though, I do need some 8x10 frames.

It's not a case of haters hating, its us trying let you know the scam people with fake deals. Google it. I'm sure there's some deals to be had but for framing services you get ripped off using their "discounts" just like buddy was giving a heads up for the coupons I'm giving a heads up its not as good as it may seem.

450 to frame a jersey? I have very few jerseys I spent 450 or more on.

To each their own, just posted in case someone wanted empty frames to frame their own pictures or jerseys.

Framing is expensive, 450 sounds right if ur sealing it all up with matting, etc

Despite the markup they are prob best place to find shadow boxes and cases

I guess I'm just bitter I fell for their 50-60 percent off framing sales for so many years. Serenity now, serenity now

Don't hate the place. Far from it. I'm there a couple times a month. I just watch what I buy and when. Heck, I went today and picked up a half priced frame for a line up card I just accuired. I'll post pics later. It's not bad for 50% off but would not have paid full price for it. Would rather spend the big bucks on GU stuff not overpriced frames.

I found a gigantic framed shadow box with real glass on craigslist that had a giant hideous korean fan in it. My vision is to display two jerseys and pants in it. 50 bucks canadian..if I bought same size in store easily pushing 1000 bucks. Mind u I gotta figure out how to hang the thing without pulling my walls down :)
