Don Larsen Bat ALTERED

In the current mears auction they're selling a 1959-60 Don Larsen bat. In looking at it I thought it looked familiar. Low and behold, its the same Larsen bat that I owned last year. Instead Im guessing the person who bought it from me and most likely the consignor removed the number from the knob, removed the ring around the barrel and repaired the knob. The biggest being the number 3 removed from the knob because that showed it was used by another player not Don Larsen.

Also I have informed Troy at mears of this bat. But thought I'd post it here to show people what people do to items and try to pass them off as something else.

I was about to ask you about this bat. Just saw it and knew you had one extremely similar. Noticed the knob was definitely repaired as well.

I contacted the person who bought it off me asking about the alterations to the bat but they haven't wrote back. So just wanted to let people know the ebayer who bought it from me was username wildcatnation11
