I have an 82 mark may road jersey, pounded with use. It has over 10 team repairs around the shoulder/chest area. Someone badly want's to purchase it from me, cause it doesn't really fit in my collection. I'm not sure of the current market value of something like this. Any help coming up with one would be greatly appreciated. I know there was a no use later model that sold for 616.00 about 10 years ago. I assume this one being from a super bowl winning year and showing heavy use would be worth more. Thanks in advance.

Yes. In my opinion worth alot more.

It would do well in a major auction like Goldin's. Well-used early 1980s Redskins gamers are not common by any means.

Thanks guys, for the opinion and suggestion. Anyone care to make a ball park guess on a realistic/potential value? Again any help will be greatly appreciated. This guy is really on me about a price. I want to give him a current market value price. He's not a friend or family, so i like to know what you guys think that your asking price would be if you had it for sale

The Skins auction market has been red-hot over the last year. The May shirt should bring 2k.

I would think that $1,300 private sale would be fair to buyer and seller....

I think the seller should factor in a few things. How much in commission they will have to pay to consign it to say Goldin Auctions not to mention i think they charge a authentication fee.

As someone quoted 2 grand who's to say it might not go for 3 or 4 grand if a bidding war ensues.

If your a betting man send it to auction.

If you wanna skip all that offer it in a private sale for an amount your are comfortable with.

If it where me I would get a quote from Goldin Auctions and see how much they want to charge first.

Thanks for the input. I'll have to check on the fee's/commission option. if I can't hash out a private deal.
