Do you feel that the NBA logo is too low on this Grey Flannel auction jersey?
In the game photo the NBA Logo appears higher.

I feel it is low compared to the photo. Do the holes on the mesh match up?

However it could be from another game.

Be very careful Rob deal with GF. There are known for shotty research and selling items that are not what they advertise.

The mesh hole definitely don't match up. Also, that "HoF LOA" that they are advertising means nothing. I'd stay away if you have any concerns, do a search on this forum and you'll see a lot of users warning others about GF.

I only posted that picture as an example of what I feel is incorrect NBA logo placement. Barkley wore 34 for only a few games that year switching to 32 to honor Magic Johnson. I cant say for certain how many games he played with 34. The pictures with 34 that I found all show similar logo placement.

If he wore his jersey it may have been against the nets ( NOV 6) or the warriors ( NOV 8)

I will stay away from this Jersey

Thanks for your input Otis and Phil

SPORTS PEOPLE: PRO BASKETBALL; Barkley Will Switch To Johnson's No. 32

Published: November 13, 1991

CHARLES BARKLEY will drop his No. 34 and wear MAGIC JOHNSON's No. 32 on his Philadelphia 76ers jersey for the rest of the season to honor the retired Los Angeles Lakers player.

Barkley will make the switch as soon as a jersey is made, team officials said. The switch will happen either Friday night when Philadelphia plays at Boston, or Saturday at Detroit, team officials said.

"We think that having Charles wear No. 32 is a way of expressing our admiration and love for Magic," 76ers General Manager GENE SHUE said. Shue said Barkley would only wear the number on his jersey this season, and "as far as the team is concerned, No. 32 remains and always will remain BILLY CUNNINGHAM's number." The team had retired the number. (AP)

I find it interesting that GFC never mentions the information posted here about the limited time Barkely wore #34 that season. I wonder if their authenticators even knew that or bothered to research it...?
