Knicks locker from Madison Square Garden

I have an opportunity to buy on of the Knicks lockers from their locker room before the garden transformation. I can get a pretty good deal on it, but am hesitant for a few reasons. What kind of value do you put on it now and how much do you think it can be worth way down the road. It's the same lockers probably as early as the 70s through 2010

Hi Droop,

MeiGray authenticated jerseys from the New York Rangers from 1997-2010, and as a sportswriter for the NY Daily News from 1985-1997, I was in the locker rooms of the Knicks and Rangers at MSG regularly for more than 25 years.

I can tell you with first-person certainty the lockers were not the same from the 1970s through 2010. The locker rooms and all auxiliary rooms were updated a few times in the 1980s, the Garden was refurbished in 1989-90, and upgrades were done in the late 90s and 2000s.

If you can forward a photo of the locker, I'll be happy to help you try to date it.

yes that it the one from Steiner, but I am able to get it at a much lower price
